1 LLM International Business Law Law
 
This highly-regarded course offers choice and flexibility. The teaching strategy is innovative and allows you to pursue areas that are of particular interest to you. The course has an international orientation and has been attracting students from all over the world since it was established. Students must take five compulsory modules: Legal Research Skills, Law of the International Sale of Goods, Law and Policy of the World Trade Organisation, International Commercial Ligitation and Arbitration and the Dissertation. Students will also choose two other modules from a range of subjects (subject to demand) including Foundations and Principles of International Law, English Commercial Law, International Organisations and International Dispute Resolution, International Maritime Law and Comparative Corporate Governance. Taught modules are devised to ensure active learning both of the subject matter and of the skills essential to masters level study. You undertake various forms of shorter exercises throughout the taught programme, for example, you may give an oral presentation, read and comment on an academic article or prepare detailed answers to questions set in advance. You will receive additional training in choosing a research topic, advanced research methods and academic writing before beginning work on your dissertation.
